Lolita Bow Tutorial

This is a basic bow without any frills. You can add lace, pearls, charms, multiple fabrics, etc. to make it unique. To wear, slide it onto a headband, stitch on a barrette, hair clip, or pin back and you’ll be the belle of the ball!

In this tutorial the pattern was cut from freezer paper. The large rectangle measures 16″ x 10″ and the small one measures 4″ x 2 1/4″. The finished bow measures approximately 8″ x 5″.

When making very small bows sew everything with wrong sides together, and sew on the small center piece with the right side facing out so you don’t have to turn anything. All the other steps remain the same.
