Temporal Displacement Indicator

This new Steampunk gadget, just off the elf’s work table, is a Temporal Displacement Indicator. It’s purpose?…detecting rifts in time. Useful for tracking rogue time travelers or predicting time storms. Wielded by Sir Avery McCormick, ninja, knight, and royal bodyguard.

This was made from various jewels, wire, washers, plastic tubing, leather belts, a round candy tin, a dollar store push light, one napkin ring, two curtain rings, and a reflector for a kerosene lamp. The wrist mechanism lights up when pressed, and the large blue jewel in the reflector did light up…temporarily…I still haven’t got the wiring right for that yet.

  1. Have you read Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next books? There are time police in the books, called chronoguards, that this made me think of. Very creative! I have one of those Dollar Tree lights laying around, waiting for a project.

I just love how imaginative you are at your house! Your creativity is amazing! 🙂
