Corner Cabinet

My DH bought me a cute little antique corner cabinet. It looks homemade, and circa late 1940’s or 1950’s. We found it in a tiny town in Indiana for $50! It was a good price because someone had cut the bottom fronts on each side…presumably to make it fit snug over wide floor mouldings. It was stained a dark reddish color. Much too dark for my decor. Here’s a picture of the inside of the bottom for the “before” look. And here’s a picture of the lovely piece after 2 coats of primer, and 5 coats of semi gloss white paint.

Currently, I’m displaying my “wagon wheel” amber depression glass and Homer Laughlin china on it. Its a great addition to the kitchen!
